Light but balanced and flavorful. Just earthy & spicy enough to support beef, but drinks smoothly enough to drink on its own, despite 14%.

Great value at $20, at Vendome — 8 days ago
Lovely wine, majority of red fruits with hint of vanilla. — 5 days ago
Lots of layers to this. Brick red color. Starts with aromas of petrol, flavors of blackberry and briar. Then moves to cherry, tobacco, licorice with lavender aromas. Towards the end I get blueberry. Like having three separate wines over a course of less than 2 hours. Medium body and tannins, with plenty of acidity. Worked very well with red sauce lasagna. Decent with a lamb chop and portobello ravioli. — 4 days ago

Ottimo 2013 — 6 days ago
This is a rich delicious red that has a California feel. The cab and Merlot are in front with some Sangiovese present in a supporting role. While I love this wine it is more meritage than super Tuscan in style. Long finish and smooth tannins. — 16 days ago
Really needed to open up. Better the next day. Decent for longer next time - 30 min. at least. Not very heavy for an Amarone but still smooth. Bought on WTSO. — 22 days ago
A good Italian red. Fairly lightly spiced cherry fruit up front, but this wine does have some grip on the back end. — 17 days ago
