The bouquet is a show stopper! A complex array of animalistic charm intermingling w/ intense dose of cassis, blackberry, and dapper new oak spice.

Full bodied (14.5avb), high tannin, med high acidity. Game, pretty soil tone, meaty, new leather, cedar with a hint of gun powder and coffee grind. The fruit profile is still very much present. Last minutes.

Crisp and refreshing but still have great structure. Light toast, brioche, from batonage. Viognier gives it a light lemongrass note. Paired very nicely with lightly curried green pea soup. — 8 years ago
