Terroir de Chichée Chablis Chardonnay 2021

Nice Chablis from a producer I always enjoy…but honestly needs some time. Quite full and intense right now - bit of a smack in the face with lemon and minerality. Suggest food if drinking now. — 7 months ago

I have about the full gamut of these baby cru's from Piuze, agreed they want more time to come together, maybe 2024-25 will be the zone.

Saint-Julien Red Bordeaux Blend 2014

2014 vintage. Decanted and tasted immediately and after 45 minutes. Zero sed on the decant. Medium body. Was expecting it to be a little bigger. Graphite/lead pencil and some funk in the nose. The funk blew off after 10-15 mins. Flavors presented as lean and mean with plenty of baking chocolate and earth waving hello. Likely needed two solid hours in the decanter before pestering. 1.11.24. — 3 months ago

Les Fiefs de Lagrange St. Julien Red Bordeaux Blend 2020

2020 vintage. A blend of 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 44% Merlot, and 9% Petit Verdot. An elegant, fresh, medium-bodied, well-balanced wine with good length. It's not very complex, but a reliable, well-made crowdpleaser. No match for the (more expensive)Moulin Riche 2020 tasted alongside. — 7 months ago
