Very nice Cali cab. Plum, blackberry, cherry jam. Vanilla, oak, and chocolate. Juicy, round tannins, medium-low acidity. A solid choice for either pairing with food or drinking on its own. The neat bottle shape also makes it a nice hostess gift. — 9 months ago
See previous notes - this is a big flavoursome Pinot Noir. Red and Black cherries - a little toffee (oak) but largely integrated. Medium plus bodied palate with stewed fruits like rhubarb - medium minus acid. A mouthful of flavour and a great winter Pinot Noir. Tasted 24 weeks later on 3rd December 2021. Consistent notes - raspberry and rich cherry - medium plus bodied - a Shiraz drinkers Pinot - on the large size. Not being disparaging - I enjoyed this. — 3 years ago
This wine has a burnished look, deep brown. The nose is a treat all on its own. There are aromas of brown sugar, coffee and orange zest which combine for an amazing olfactory experience. The palate is just as joyful, with caramel, raisin and mocha notes. The acidity is fresh and exhilarating. Although the wine is described on the label as “cream,” it does not strike me as creamy. The viscosity is nice, though. It will pair well with dessert, or serve as one by itself. — 3 months ago
100% Dry Creek Single Vineyard Zinfandel. Deep ruby/purple color. Intense aromas of black cherry, plum, dates and vanilla with a touch of mint. Dark black cherry/raspberry/plum flavors with hints of vanilla oak and black pepper on the lingering and juicy finish. Medium-plus body and soft tannins. Beautifully balanced (nice acidity) and well structured. Just pop and pour. Great option for a picnic or summer barbecue. — 9 months ago

I’m scoring as is today, but I really think this inches upward a bit over the next 5-7yrs.
This fell victim to curiosity (as well as a ‘21 Modus Operandi UV-Laguna Pinot). I’ve had a few of Lato’s entry and mid-level offerings, but this was my first Pisoni from them. Loved it.
Profile wise, this is similar to Dumol (not as big as Aubert, but not a lean style either). A very pretty down-the-middle style. While the aromatics here were lovely (honeysuckle, faint lemon cream, citrus and sweet baking spices), the texture of this wine was a standout. Sports much more depth than initially expected (yellow fruits, peach, apricot, pink cotton candy, limestone)…not quite a lees-y style, but close, while remaining elegant and light on its feet (good acidity). Oak is there but plays a supporting role. For being so young, this was a supremely balanced wine. I need to consider buying more. — 3 months ago
2004 Vintage Overtly green and herbal on the nose but still with lovely Cabernet sweet fruit and fine tannin. — 2 years ago
Like a flavorful wine sundae—biting into a medley of strawberry, pear, and maraschino cherry with the perfect vanilla creamy on top. — 3 years ago

100% old-vine Marsanne from the Les Murets lieu dit which is predominantly east facing on the hill. This was the most powerful of the three Hermitage Blancs tonight. The nose was redolent of marmalade, honey, butter cream frosting, and slate. Luxurious texture with a long finish. Lovely with monkfish, sweet potato, leek, and winter truffle.
