I had this exactly a year ago, and it tastes much better now. Maybe it needed that extra time, or my palate is different. Still strong acidity and grappa notes, but the finish is long and feels more layered. Apricots, herbs, dried orange peel. Not so much prune as before. One left in the cellar, so I’ll try again next year. — 8 months ago

The bottle I tried a year ago must have been slightly off, because this time it’s delicious. More fruit-forward than I remembered. Soft cherry with delightful, delicate length. Nicely aged after a decade, not sour at all. Wine tasting is influenced by so many factors - almost never consistent for me. — 7 months ago
This is great dark red wine from Portugal. Not the most complex but at this price point has little if any competition. Great with food. Classical in style with mature but fresh and balanced fruit. Get one and tell me what you think. — 9 months ago

Interesting wine to end a night at Estella. A lil advanced but balance with wild acid and a long gorgeous finish. Would like to expire this more. — 8 months ago
Really a wonderful white wine on our last night in Lisbon. From Bairrada, not sure I’ve had wines from there before. From the nose you can tell this is going to be long and refined. Mouth filling, with intense minerality, some salinity, excellent crisp acids, and a crazy long finish (especially at this young age). Really one of the better whites I’ve had in a long time and together with some of the Alentejano wines on this trip good marks for future exploration. — a year ago
