Heavens to Betsy this is delicious! I don't like using the word "smooth" to describe wine, but this Cabernet Sauvignon is Miles Davis. It's so good. Hard to pin down the fruit... blackberry, blueberry, cherry, tobacco, sweet cream, vanilla. A bit of lavender. Such soft, lingering tannins on the finish. Makes your teeth purple! I really love this wine, but I can't afford it.

Lots going on with this wine. Progression from light to dark fruit to tart, slightly sour finish. Dried cherry, forest floor, acidic. — 17 days ago

Another solid vintage of this Dave Phinney California Merlot. Dark ruby/black color. Aromas of cooked black fruit, lavender, cedar and dark chocolate. Flavors of blackberry compote, chocolate covered cherries, coffee, plum pudding, cola and a bit of fresh herbs. Long, lingering and very smooth finish. Soft tannins. Full bodied and pretty intense. Quite fruit forward but there are also some savory notes. Velvety texture, rich and juicy. Fits within the Orin Swift profile. Solid restaurant value. — 5 months ago

Some spicy juice. Punches you in the mouth with bold, black and red fruits. Mellows out nicely, with a smooth finish. — 3 months ago
