Vintage 2016 | Absolutely beautiful, st Julien frivolity, very intens and perfumed | paired with Boeuf Bourguignon | I did not recognize / determine this as Rioja, was obsessed with left bank Bordeaux in my head. Wine of the Night. For me unknown, but o man so good. — a month ago
Fruity and dry. Very good. — 5 months ago
Incredible, classic #rioja. Still lively black, purple fruit aromas, touch of leather, earth. Animated bramble fruit continues on the tongue, absolutely integrated oak after 18 years of bottle age, velvety tannins on the finish. Yummy. — a month ago
Blend of 86% Tempranillo, 8% Graciano, 4% Mazuelo (Cariñena) and 2% Garnacha, grapes and various plots fermented separately, aged for 20 months in American oak, then blended. Deep Ruby color with aromas of ripe black fruits and floral spice notes. On the palate flavors of cherry, blackberry and plum with notes of leather, vanilla and oaky notes. Fine tannins, long finish, lively acidity ending with fruit, sweet oak and spice. Nice! ‘17 a bit better! — 3 months ago
