Don’t let the deep purple color throw you off, this wine is low in tannin, bright
and light on its feet. Teran is the (biotype?) of Refosco grown in Slovenia’s Carso on limestone and iron-rich terrarossa. Dried cherries, herbs, dried leaves, red earth. Very food friendly wine, worked with both a flatiron steak and Calabrian fried chicken. — 7 months ago
2011 vintage. Really delicious and Goes in a direction you wouldn’t expect. A little cucumber-y finish — 9 months ago
Peppery, but savory and funky, full without fruit. Amazing. — 2 years ago
The 2018 Vitovska is very pretty, showing notes of musky young peach, dusty dried flowers and almond skins. It’s soft and almost savory in the mouth, turning incredibly floral as well, displaying nuances of green apple, ginger and salty minerals. This becomes structured and dry through the finale, buzzing with residual tension yet achingly young. I’d advise a year or two of cellaring or a good decanting before checking in here. Rouge très foncé, violacé. Nez discret. Acidité étonnante pour la région, proche d'un vin plus nordique, avec un corps agile. Tanins légers. Petits fruits rouges frais. — a year ago
Enjoyed this out of a magnum, which was a great because it went so fast!!! Not too funky, but had a really nice rounded mid-palate and fun burnt orange notes. — 2 years ago

Deliciously oceanic Chardonnay from the Carso. Viscous, intense, vibrant. Wet rocks and seashell, lemon pith, a little bit of lees. — a month ago
