Skyhook Red Blend 2014

Dark ruby in color with a reddish rim.

Nose of black fruits, cedar, licorice, light vanilla, tobacco, chocolates, coffee, alcohol and black pepper.

Full-bodied and elegant with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with blackberries, plums, cooked cherries, cedar, spices, licorice, chocolates, bitter herbs, alcohol, coffee, light earth and peppercorn.

Spicy finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.

This Syrah blend from California is still drinking nicely, although definitely not at its peak any longer.

Good right out of the bottle and better after 30 minutes of airtime.

The Syrah is very dominant, especially on the palate, and the high alcohol is noticeable.

Showing nice complexity at this point. Tasty and good by itself as a sipping wine.

14.8% alcohol by volume.

90 points.

$45 (at release).

Cerro Napa Valley Chardonnay 2018

I may be developing a taste for Cali Chard. Lemon, creme, hazelnut, and anise. Rich and concentrated, good acidity, and a long smokey finish. — 2 years ago

Skyhook Viognier 2014

Great start to the dinner. Crisp but not as sharp as a SB. The little bit of sweetness made it the perfect aperitif. — 7 years ago

Added these and didn't pay attention. Looks like Deletable got quite a few of them wrong surprisingly. Last I looked this type of wine was typically white :)
