Once upon a time in Hollywood — 4 years ago
Grocery store bought in Como Mercato. We finally settled into a great Airbnb in Laglio--- a few doors down from George and Amal. We were invited to the Villa, but the heck with that... I haven't had good thoughts about Hollywood since at least 2016. Anyway, decent cab/sang blend, welcome departure from Langhe, but nothing spectacular. I do love other offerings from this winery though.

Effervescent and funky. Got at Lou wine shop in Los Feliz. Tickled my palate at the Hollywood bowl while Nathaniel Rateliff tickled my eardrums. — 2 years ago
Hit me in a. Few waves. Kind of a cool soft spicy finish. Enjoyable.

Fashionable country resort in mid 20th century, popular with Hollywood due to 1892 stone Manor House and historic gardens. Dark Ruby with aromas of ripe berry fruits, herbs and spice for this blend with 86% Cab Sauvignon. On the palate black cherry and black currant flavors with oak and earthy notes. Well balanced, fine ripe tannins lingering ending with fruit and pepper spice! Nice! Drink over next decade. — 5 years ago
Enjoyed at Madeline Stuart’s home in the Hollywood Hills — 5 years ago
Invited this Somm 3 movie star to dinner and it definitely didn’t disappoint. It is Burgundy in California, and like Tom Hardy in Hollywood, it has plenty of talent. Cherries and raspberries with violet and a subtle earth, finely balanced in the mouth. Trying not to finish it before the coq au vin is done, ask @Lyn Farmer for a solid coq au vin story. — 5 years ago
