Drinking this 2013 Red Car Hagen Vineyard Sonoma Coast Chardonnay in early 2023 for a special celebration. Deep golden yellow color, soft syrupy legs, mellow honey/butter/nutty tannin with a smooth classy fruit taste.
Sipping it while I'm waiting for dinner to be ready and it's great alone, and based on how the aromas are mixing, will beautifully complement dinner of escarole, beans, garlic, olive oil, pasta. Love Red Car... — a year ago

Wes Hagen, 20 year veteran wine maker at Clos Pepe Vineyard, joined our group and gave us a master class in Santa Barbara pinot noir. We tried 11 PNs from 2004-2010, made by Loring, AP Vin, Sandler, Siduri, and Brewer-Clifton. This 2009 Loring had the meaty flavors that I love in a great US PN. — a month ago
Fresh, creamy, flowery ... everything is fitting so well together. Immensly satisfying balance for a very fair price! — a year ago

This is clone 117. Smells good. Berry is prominent. Deep smell. Flavors are complex and chewy. — a month ago
Unfiltered, no sulfur. A great Pinot. Definitely a wine maker to watch. Hi toned acidity, surprisingly vanilla?/raspberry nose. Tart strawberries, touch backing spices, lime in the glass. Back palate just a hint of blackberry. Fresh and elegant wine. I love it totally up my alley. At Bar Chelou in Pasadena next to the Playhouse. — 3 months ago
