Light. Easy drinking. Slight spice. — 5 years ago

Wild Hog Vineyard

Fort Ross-Seaview Pinot Noir

We love the hogs! Rustic brambly wood and wet dragony leaves. Good structure and the right amount of spice and acidity for a funky north coast Pinot. Couldn't be made by nicer people. I'd give it a 14 if I could. — 7 years ago

Bellerophon Syrah Viognier 2012

Needs to open up, but great potential here. Not bad for a cool summer evening with crispy fried hogs head. — 9 years ago

"Sauvs" are good, but very disappointingly Cloudy Bay was the best we had after touring all over Marlborough. After much difficulty got hold ifs 2001 Sauvignon Blanc from Framingham. Extremely interesting. Unlike Sancerre, no one here has yet realized the potential of aging these wines. Could make serious money doing this, as they are all sold fresh for very little money.

Great value. I haven't had so much fun since the hogs are my little brother. — 8 years ago

Reserve Series Sauvignon Blanc

Little bright on its own but when you wash down some West coast hogs with this East coast Savvy you get a match made in heaven (if it exists...I highly doubt it). — 9 years ago

Domaine Huet

Le Mont Moelleux Vouvray Chenin Blanc 2009

For this sweet wine, balanced with the lanolin tones and oily richness of Huet - can't imagine a better wine of this style. Would pair with a salty terrine or hogs head cheese — 7 years ago

Peach Wine

One of the better peach wines I have had -- tastes like actual fruit vs. fruit flavor. Picked this up at a small wine tasting shack on the side of the country road in Maine ... good find! Will enjoy with my husband as we paint a new color on our re-done bathroom walls. — 9 years ago
