Heidi Barrett put this winery on the map. Lush red fruit with subtle tannins that are multi tiered. Has years to continue to mature. Their wines have not stayed at this level since Heidi left. Too bad!! — 3 months ago

Big - lots of whole cluster - quite fruit driven. Just 24 cases made. 13%. This will need so much more time for the fruit to mellow out. Made in honor of Grahams daughter birthday. I hope she enjoys it once she is 16 ahem. I mean 21. Quite herbaceous now. Cardamom, elderberry, celery. Not necessarily my style but this could be quite nice in years to come - made to age! — 3 months ago

We tasted a lot of wine at Merry Edwards. The new winemaker, Heidi von der Mehden, even popped in to say hello during the tasting. I will wait to review the rest of what I ordered as I open them, but this was my wine of the tasting for me. I have enjoyed every vintage of Olivet Lane that I have tried thus far, and this was no exception. This wine was full bodied, ripe fruit, and push mouthfeel. I tend to like Olivet Lane after its had a few years of age — really all of her wines are better with a little age IMO. — 3 months ago

All hail, winter whites 🙌🏻🙌🏻.
An ideal pairing with a buttery, flakey, whole wheat chard, mushroom & ricotta galette. Great acid. Pear, lemon zest, butter, barely ripe white nectarine, a touch a marzipan/canided almond/candied pineapple and a pristine zing on the finish. Heidi Schrock is a master at her craft. Right now I’m loving these zingy whites (and a little RS doesn’t hurt so sue me) — 5 months ago
