A robustly flavored dark amber wine with strong notes of honey and raisins. — 2 years ago
My first ever Georgian 🇬🇪 wine and I was not disappointed! Saperavi grapes from old vines bring a nose of red fruit (raspberries and sour red cherries), white peppercorn and forest floor. Palate: an explosion of plums and cherries 🍒 , hints of blueberries 🫐 with some spiciness and tobacco 🍃 from the oak 🪵. A grippy full bodied wine with massive potential to age. 100% recommend to let it breath for 30-45mins and pairs nicely with lamb 😄 — 3 years ago
I aggressively disagree with the ratings for this wine. Deep purple in color. Graphite, plum, and green pepper on the nose. An initial hit of sweet and fruit on the palate that then finishes with medium tannins, a bit of oak, and a good earthiness on the finish. Pair with salty, rich food. — 3 years ago
Wow! Briny Oysters and shellfish nose. Held the most brilliant tangerine color. Tannins registered on the tip of the tongue. — a year ago
A very rich, surprising red wine - reminiscent of a bold malbec. Paired perfectly with richly spiced meats. — 3 years ago
This is the Tibaani bottling.
On the nose there’s a wonderfully complex mix of treacle tart, apricot pastry, sticky toffee pudding, Manuka honey, warm terracotta pot, flapjack, gingerbread, yellow raisins and toasted almonds.
The palate shows spicy apricot, turmeric and gingerbread character, the tannins are sapid, firm but chalky and quite fine, certainly a wine that works best with food.

This is a delight and drinking gorgeously. Reminds me of sitting at a cafe in Tibilisi years ago. A good memory i’ve been chasing for almost a decade. Strong dark red color with dried cherries, leather, and chocolate on the nose. Structure is great, the tannins are not too intense and acidity is just right. Prunes and spice, a little earth. Rich. — 3 months ago
