Killer nose. White cherries, peaches and apricots. Jellied and ripe but also has a palpable sense of minerality. White chocolate sprinkles. So delicate and detailed. Palate is a dream. Juicy and intense like a liquid sweet tart. Such intense but clean and caressing acids. So dense and chewy but loose as well. This is so delicious and so well made. Wow. Long electric finish. What a wine. Genius. Brilliant. But that’s 2019. Insane nose of honeysuckle, caramel nougat, spice, mineral, confectionary notes, apricot, peach skin and superb head spinning mineralIty. What a palate. Elegant, spicy, tons of apricot and peach skin, and so juicy and energetic. Pure and sappy. So nimble but also has energy and substance for days. Citrus, marmalade flavors develop after some minutes. Juicy and so clean. Unreal. So pure. Sappy and dense. Balanced and long. This has serious stuffing. What a wine. Perfect ripeness balanced with scintillating minerality and energy. Chewy. Wonderful. After some air one gets lost in the nose and aroma. Dizzying. The best honeyed aromas. Haven’t had in about a year. Awesome nose. Honeyed and dense. Layered. Apricot, citrus, huge minerals and slate. Lemon, lime, so so complex. Some funk as well. Herbs and scents of nature. Genius nose. Ridiculous palate. So deep, so complex and so well shaped. Unreal texture and depth. This is drinking amazing. Wow. Incredible freshness and acidity. Really pure. Oh baby is this in the zone. Nose is incredible. Wafting aromas of black olive, black berry fruit with a crystalline purity to it. So dense. So aromatic. Just killing it. Wow. Stunning clarity. Had good luck with Gilles recently. Amazing palate. Just unreal fruit and it’s everywhere! Just saturates with granite infused juicy, lip smacking insanity. So dazzlingly pure. The granite expression is crazy. What a finish. So complex and has that extra that makes it a great vintage. Unreal depth and concentration. Holy shit. This is total genius. — 3 years ago
