Dinner at Val’s.
“Floral-violet airs accompany notably fine red fruits on a bouquet that gives airborne appeal, is gentle on top, with quiet foundation below. The palate gives bright fruit, has low-key depth… a fine St.-Jo., a hands-off style, letting the juice do the talking. There are fine droplets on the aftertaste… This is accurate, precise.” DrinkRhone.com — 4 months ago
From magnum, the wine offers an explosion of black fruit with a lovely violet, black cherry and cassis foundation. There is a hint of bay leaf and emerging tertiary notes of leather, forest floor and cigar box. Cedar emerges on a long finish. Very elegant, silky Tannins and beautiful weight in the mouth. Truly elegant with a textbook balance of grit and earthy character. Gorgeous now and for another decade at least. — 2 months ago
Had this one just after my stint with Covid. Still not certain about my smelling abilities. However with that said I will give this opinion. The nose obviously has strawberry notes but to me was more like one of those strawberry hard candies like your grandmother would like. Assuming Covid deviation for this because others did not agree. Raspberry and cherries as well. At least the taste buds did not suffer like the nose. Beautiful red fruits linger with hints of ash/chalk and a bit of spice. Tannins are medium plus and the acid is right there as well. Making this a very enjoyable glass to drink. I know we did not let it sit long enough but the solid foundation that is is built on shined throughout the bottle. I can only imagine how this will be in its prime. — 4 months ago
The full package. Nose is slightly reduced with crushed stone minerality but without covering the bright fresh lemon foundation, with a layer of lemon blossoms. On the palate, a slight bitter nuttiness emerges, but surrounded by mouthwatering acidity. — 2 months ago
Deep ruby with a nose of red fruits. Strawberries, cherries, and vanilla with a slight hint of graphite. Great balance with medium mouthfeel. Higher acidity with a nice smooth finish. Wine after unpacking! — 2 months ago
Rich with equal parts honey and lemon. I love the style of Northern Italy and this could be anything from Piedmont to Alto Adige. Golden glow, sweet perfumes, viscous foundation. Aromas of honey lemon almond marzipan, a bed of flowers, smoke and hint of mint. Very worth my while. — 3 months ago

Cheers to South African bubbles!!!
This delicious wine is a medium lemon hue. It offers a foundation of starfruit, kumquat, lemon pith, green apple, pear, and herbaceous-y notes of grass.
The Sauvignon Blanc expresses itself delicately and elegantly which is blended with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
As the wine opens, aromas of stargazer lily and white blossom emerge alongside secondary notes of frozen pie crust, bread dough, and biscuit.
This bottle of bubbles is produced using the Méthode Cap Classique which follows the ‘traditional method’ used for producing sparkling wines of Champagne 🥂 🍾
