I figured that with their vast resources, this top of the line Gallo can’t be bad. It did not disappoint. Good concentration with lavish oak that’s well integrated. Supple yet robust on the palate. Fresh acidity and fine grained tannins. A lot to like here. — 3 months ago

#sonomawine #californiacab #gallo it's so amazing to drink Californian wine history and have it taste so good. The wine is still showing a lot of fruit, typical notes of black currants and cracked pepper. Slightly bitter cranberry, plum skin and sage finish. The back label is very informative. This wine was aged 46 months in Slavonian oak in underground naturally cooled cellars. — 7 years ago

One of my favorites. Stunning. Bell pepper and stones over ripe fruit. Youthful nose, but weight, depth and texture. Crisp acid. — 9 years ago
