Bright Ruby with aromas of dark fruits, spices, oak and floral notes. On the palate flavors of cherry and plum with notes of herb pepper, tobacco, cedar and cacao. Long finish, nice balance with fine soft tannins, ending with oak and earthy notes. Needs a few more years in the bottle! — 13 hours ago
Rare sighting. Lucky to drink them side by side. Both a bit young and powerful with so much aging potential. Massetino is mostly Merlot with some Cab Franc. Masseto is all Merlot. Distinctly different though. Massetino being the more robust and Masseto being the more elegant. Then again. So much potential. — 17 days ago
Impressive showing here with blackcurrants and leather. The finish persists for minutes and leaves you wanting more. Very classy — 3 days ago
Still banging in 2021, drinking lighter than the ABV with smooth red fruit and relatively restrained acidity — 2 days ago
On the nose, there is sweet cherry to be sure... Cherry brandy... A mossy, earthy note... Savory mushroom... Yup, we're in the woods... But warm... On the palate, some more green emerges perhaps... Still extremely savory though... Buttery pastry... Cherry is incredibly concentrated... Tannin is fluffy... Medium-short finish... Reading the label, I thought this would pair well with our strong-flavored barbeque, but it paired best with our beef and barley soup appetizer... I think if you could pair with something that includes filo pastry, it would do even better... — 2 days ago

There’s a purity and elegance to this wine that kept me going back. Everything’s light - bright red berry, sweet tannins and subtle Mediterranean tang - but the whole has weight and … well, gravitas, with a lengthy finish. Outstanding for me. Great food wine. — 2 days ago
