Come on what's not to like here. Quick trip to Poundbury, admire L Krier's handiwork, swing into Dorset Wines, pay less than 20 quid and come out with a structured (but not evisceratingly tannic) neb that delivers petals and hints that it'll tar up, but while also keeping its focus firmly on cherries. I have barolo in my garage. It makes me weep that I've got at least another 3 years before I can touch it. None of those problems here. — 3 years ago
Excellent accompaniment to a Hake & Dorset cockles dish — 7 years ago
Delicious and superb milk stout. Lots of chocolate with hints of coconut and caramel in the nose. A nice gentle foam head with just a little carbonation.
Taste wise, it is smooth and rich without being overpowering. Lots of chocolate mixing with malt with hints of coffee and caramel.
Overall, this Hall and Woodhouse Badger milk stout is one to savour and enjoy. — 2 years ago

Berry and toast, lovely soft effervescence like a cremant, maybe a hint of lemon zest...not too pronounced. — 5 years ago
Likre this one. Bit different, definitely something about it and went down v easily. Enjoyed with dinner in Dorset. — 3 years ago

Oaky with quite a tannic body. Paired beautifully with a strong Dorset cheddar. Rich in body with cherry tones. — 5 years ago

Yup! Dry dry dry, the Yarlington gives it some white pepper, faded papery texture from the dabinett and a little more body than pure dab. The whole range could use a touch more fruit concentration. — 6 months ago
