The 2015 is a very well made wine from southwest France. 50% Syrah, 50% braucol. 12% alcohol. Medium ruby, medium intensity, nose of cassis, blackberry, chocolate, leather, corrugated steel, blood. On the palate, medium acidity and surprisingly silky tannins. More red and black fruit and a bit of iron. Outstanding value for the price and I wasn’t expecting much. — 5 years ago
Great bottle from Les Marchands — 8 years ago
Marchands de vin in Santa Barbara were right. Nice Chardonnay made in the USA. Not a burg. Acidity medium plus — 4 years ago
12% alcohol is my siren song, so had to try: an equal blend of Duras, Broucol, & Syrah—candy red color & white pepper squared, thought this may work better in a smaller glass but no, this would benefit from a short decant. The black currant & red fruits have a few gears & fill out (& with tautness) with air. A delish vin de soif & under 15$ a no brainer. Wine Universe imports — 6 years ago

Fine wine! — 6 years ago
This was a random find (part of the Les Marchands daily drinker club) and I am so pleased with it. Medium bodied with little tannin and good acidity, all the bases covered for Grenache. Surprising smokiness and spice on the palate considering the fruit on the nose. Definitely on my list for wines to buy in the future! — 9 years ago

Yes! My wine of the night appeared in the first quarter. I bought this early on at Les Marchands. So glad I kept it cool until today. That vineyard, my goodness. What a gem. Value and quality. — 4 years ago
