So good so dry — 3 years ago
This producer never fails. Not a wine that shows a lot of ‘syrah’ character but Jeeze is it silky, well made and hedonistic. Lots of mocha and coffee on the nose with dark black fruits of the palate. Such a suave wine. Very young at present. Almost reminds me of saxum or sqn. If you are looking for a terroir wine, look elsewhere but if you’re looking for one damn good sexy, deep wine, look no further. — 4 years ago

@Ron R - my friend for life gifted this a year ago - it was time - had a few friends that I thought this would be appreciated by and I was right - Ronnie said decant for 90 minutes and it was sinfully good buy as we consumed each of us remarked this was getting better - the slight bite it was giving made it even better and kept coming back to it - I am a total believer - thank you my brother — 4 years ago
This wine is balanced between tannins and a silk. Old world deliciousness. — 2 years ago

This region needs to be updated to show that it’s La Clape and not the one listed. Decanted for 30 minutes and opened up very nicely from a closed off and wine to something that had real light, leather and tobacco and maraschino cherry flavors to it. Definitely mellowed quickly and can’t be sitting around waiting but enough structure to support a lot of those meaty and cigarbox flavors. — 2 months ago
