2014 from Red Hen in DC. Beautiful. Smoky, dried fruit, caramel. Balanced. — 3 months ago
Aged DC wines are such the pleasure to tastes. Ages gracefully and yet still has the brawn of youthfulness lying in the shadows. — 4 months ago
Base wine - 2011 vintage. Closed and rather linear, give it time and let it warm up. Brioche-baked sweet apple-spices accord. Lovely work. According to just-released statistics, more champagne was sold in Washington DC this weekend than over the past two years. We are in the other Washington but were happy to join in and our sigh of relief was certainly louder than the nun’s fart released on popping this. — 3 months ago
Yum!! What a delicious Barbera. Bold and richly fruity. Dangerously drinkable. Bought at The Mediterranean Way Market in Dupont Circle, DC. — a month ago
