Bright Ruby color with aromas of red berry fruits, spice and floral notes, aged for 14 months in French oak. On the palate flavors of cherry and strawberry with spice, licorice and floral notes. I absolutely adore this wine. Probably one of the best Premier Cru Chablis bottles I can remember tasting. A lovely medium straw color in the glass with faint tinges of green flecks. The bouquet is a tour de force of chalk, salinity, and citrus. Herbs and honey with just the right amount of oak.

It’s always fun when producers offer late releases which helps with potential cellaring. Developed but still on the young side, this is ready to drink now. The acid is just now beginning to develop into something beautiful. Emotional and thrilling on the tongue honey roasted nuts, lemons and limes, and seashells. A long persistent finish leaves you hoping you have a few more left. — 13 days ago

On the nose, this is cherry and blueberry... On the palate the cherry is concentrated... The blueberry is also there... Savory, fatty... The tanning here is medium and chewy... The bright, fruity finish is just medium but the tannin lingers long... I quite like this tannin effect here. I paired this with crackers and an aged Gouda, but really I think this could have paired with a variety of foods. Decent acidity to hold its own against a variety of foods as long as they're kept simple. — 2 months ago
