This is really something special. Indigenous grape rescued from oblivion cum organic wine sensation. What does it taste like? Savory meat, violets, lavender, wild strawberry, big tannic bite. 3-hour decant, and it really only started clicking for the last half hour in the glass. Grab a few and stash em away. — 4 years ago

Looking for something new with a compelling story? Aftermath is the capolavoro from a retired math professor cum quant trader who now makes wine. No expense spared to make this wine from a top vintage. It’s all about the kirsch and black cherry with a oak backbone. Really hedonistic and pleasurable. Drink within next 2-3 years. — 4 years ago
Drinking the 2 decade old product of the masterful collaboration of the new world (order's) master, Robert Mondavi, and the old world's (puppet) master, Baron Philippe Rothschild was a dream cum. True, I may be biased, but after recently tasting the 1996 and 1997 vintages of Robert Mondavi's Napa Can, I can see how much RM benefitted from Rothschild's involvement in the 1998 Opus One. He must have felt like the Cleveland Orchestra in Michael Jackson's Will You Be There (Free Willy Song). Really good, aged, mellow cherry juice. This one has quite a few years of life left in it. Mmmmmm. — 7 years ago
