Cork came out in 100+ little pieces, but thankfully no cork taint, this shows a little Brett, but other than a mid-shoulder fill level and obvious signs of weepage, pristine redfruits and impeccable balance, everything that the 1989 has been showing for at least 10 years, outstanding!! — a year ago

Upper class Gamay, marked by aging in oak barrels. Deep and concentrated. Evocation of Burgundy in classical style close to Château des Jacques. The fruit is set back, and the charm of gamay is not fully expressed, trying to play in the course of Pinot-noir without having the vertical character, imprint of the terroir. The 5 years of guards brought unity to the whole and a beautiful general outfit.

Gamay classe supérieure, marqué par un élevage en fût de chêne. Profond et concentré. Évocation de la Bourgogne dans style classique proche du Château des Jacques. Le fruit est en retrait, et le charme du gamay ne s’y exprime pas pleinement, essayant de jouer dans la cours du Pinot-noir sans en avoir le caractère vertical, marqueur du terroir. Les 5 années de gardes ont apporté de l’unité à l’ensemble et une belle tenue générale. — 2 years ago

À l’ouverture, les arômes embaument la cuisine! Nez de fruits rouges, tabac, les herbes, le 5 épices, un brin de sucrosité.

En bouche c’est soyeux, velouté, il y a de la matière. La fruits rouges, la cerise, le cuir, les herbes, un brin de « sweetness », la canelle. Chaque gorgé amenait des étages de saveurs


Belle trame tannique, bonne acidité qui supporte le tout. Longue finale. C’est excellent! Longue vie à cette bouteille.. la prochaine dans 5-7 ans — 2 years ago

Pretty Syrah from Switzerland 🇨🇭 . Tank aging choosing to highlight the fruit, we have here a crunchy cuvée with notes of black fruits, the blueberry stands out well. Peppery notes and liquorice are also felt. The mountain climate gives a lot of freshness and a certain relief to the tasting. The mouth is fresh and tense, the fruit pleasantly respected. Beautiful work, and savoir faire.

Jolie Syrah Suisse. L’élevage en cuve faisant le choix de mettre le fruit en avant, on a ici une cuvée croquante aux notes de fruits noirs, la myrtille ressortant bien. Des notes poivrées, et réglisses se font également sentir. Le climat de montagne donne beaucoup de fraîcheur et un certain relief à la dégustation. La bouche est fraîche et tendue, le fruit agréablement respecté. Beau travail, beau savoir faire. — 3 years ago

Light ruby color, beautiful shine. Nose: bright red fruits (strawberry, cherry), peppery, and mineral. Lively mouth with a slamming acidity, constituting the red thread of this tasting, balanced by gourmet notes of juicy fruit, and a beautiful chew in the mouth, with very fine tannins, as expected. Served at 12/13 degrees in summer, it is a perfect treat. 2018 is beginning to reveal welcome evolution notes, supporting a discreet oak aging. To be tasted absolutely within 1/2 years.

Robe rubis claire, belle éclat. Nez fruits rouges éclatants (fraise, cerise), poivrée, et minérale.
Bouche vive avec une acidité claquante, constituant le fil rouge de cette dégustation équilibré par des notes gourmandes de fruits juteux, et une belle matière en bouche, avec des tanins très fins, comme attendu. Servi à 12/13 degrés en été, c’est une parfaite friandise. 2018 commence à laisser poindre des notes d’évolution bienvenues, soutenant un boisé d’élevage discret.
