👃Apples:very ripe and bruised as well.
Biscuit, butter, lanolin, honey, & florals. Bold & elegant

👅Quite vinous champagne. Enough substance, backbone, & flavor to deliver a great drink. Fruit from start to the long finish: Apples, lemon, orange liquer, & pastry

Great with an aged gouda and a robusto 🧀

Solid performer at 22 years from a champagne vintage without laurels. Bravo! 🥂🍾

For t minutes: classic MSD: mushrooms, pink pepper, spice, almost too much. Then it softened nicely into a soft attack and a big round finish, lots of flavour ending in prunes — 3 months ago

The first edition of Jardin d'Ulysse, based on the 2015 vintage and disgorged in 2021 has aged beautifully in bottle. It’s really picked up intensity and generosity since it was first released. It definitely needs air, in fact, I’d have it open an hour or so in advance. It’s a taut, racy rendition with a stunningly silky texture while simultaneously rich with just the slightest oxidative complexity that’s beginning to build and only adding to its attraction. Its floral, spice and citrus inflicted aromatics are layered between its chalky mineral core and the palate is chiseled, full bodied, satiny and concentrated, with structure built to age. It’s only going to get better. Love these wines 🙌🏻 — 5 months ago
