Good with sushi or lighter Thai dishes. Citrus forward, but herbal, bitter and a little boozy. (15% abv) Interesting texture. Others are saying waxy but I get oily. Not a “clean” wine, but certainly unique. New grape for me. — 14 days ago
🙈 tasting 3rd wine
at wset level 2 course (6th meeting)
the class subject was 🇮🇹

my guess was that it'll probably be nebbiolo, barbera, sangiovese and amarone. i came close.
besides the one with appassimento treatment guessing what is each one is far behind my tastebuds (for now 😊)

An awe inspiring experience. Now sure the original source of the bottle as no label on the bottle.
Tasted after being open a week. Preserved and candied apricot, peach, walnut dried Carmel and a FINISH THAT LASTS 4+MINUTES!
Madeira is a glimpse into the immortal — 2 months ago
50/25/25 blend of Marsanne, Roussanne and Grenache Blanc. Pale white, excellent clarity. Sulfite in nose initially. White flower, lemon and maybe a hint of strawberry flavor with a lactic finish, some skin astringency, some minerality. Good acid but not overpoweringly so. Slight spritz in aftertaste. Cherry and nectarine flavors emerge after an hour, so bumping the score up to a nine point oh if you can give it an hour. — 10 days ago
