This is a Chardonnay from Mornington Penninsula, which is a wine region I was unaware of (about 45 mins outside Melbourne). I was really blown away by this wine. Reminded me of a junior version of Cloudburst. Great balance, completely electric minerality......polished but not overdone. Best surprise wine I have had here (I am not posting the wines that have been disappointing). Restaurants here are too into the Arts series from Leeuwin, which is fine but a bit over rated. — 4 years ago
Great wine! — 7 years ago
Entry on this wine needs to acknowledge 23% Semillon in the blend. Great acid with lemon notes that turned into pink grapefruit. Bright and crisp — a year ago

Enjoying this one, tiny bit acidic in a nice way. — 6 years ago
Doesn't look a bit of it's age. If this is the same as their Diamond Mountain Ranch CS (and I'm guessing that it is) then I've had the same stuff before, in 2009. It was a revelation then and it's a pure joy now. Harmonious and ever-changing layers of concentrated cassis, blackberry, mint, and earth are A Capella here in a lovely, resolved wine. — 7 years ago
