Champagne tasting 🍾: super dirty — 7 months ago
2019 NV. Super interesting stuff. Finesse and complexity of well made traditional method but completely distinct in style. Traditional citrus is mixed with slightly oxidative honey and tree sap, with a grippy, refreshing phenolic touch and an orange bitters complexity on the palate. Autolytic profile is not front and center, supports the forest-like freshness. Dosage is zero but you wouldn’t guess it, it’s in balance, not just trendy — 2 years ago
Brut Zero Rosé from Tarlant. Grower Champagne with an even split of Pn and Chard; 5% Meunier too. Zero dosage. Terrific bottle of Grower Champagne. Each glass got better and better. Great fruit and great acidity.l — 3 months ago

I managed to get a case of this fave grower Champagne… while I can still find it in the US!! >:( No added sulphites. Zero dosage. 50/50 Chardonnay/Meunier. Will savor each bottle. (Upped my rating because I’ve grown to like it more and more over time) — a year ago

Aperitive bubble for this year's new year's eve party. Only nosing and dipping my lips. Oxidative nose, green apple. Dry palate with drive. Palate cleanser. Superb! — 5 months ago
Always a great wine and after yet another wonderful day in the wine business it’s hitting the spot. Nose is very wet stones, lemon peel, some jasmine and more. Gorgeous and clear. Palate is elegant and lemony with terrific ripeness and sweet lemons on the finish and wonderful harmony. Needs air and it will gain body and cut. — 10 months ago
Nose - watermelon. Tasting notes - raspberry and peach with some healthy sugar/sweetness but not cloying. So fun! — 4 years ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The NV Brut Nature pours a faint pink color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with winsome notes of ripe berries: raspberry, strawberry, white peach, lemon curd, brioche and minerals. On the palate, the wine is bone dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and despite the zero dosage, the fruit comes across almost round…but in a really good and balanced way. Damn…I love Drappier! Drink now. — 21 days ago
