Lots of layers to this. Brick red color. Starts with aromas of petrol, flavors of blackberry and briar. Then moves to cherry, tobacco, licorice with lavender aromas. Towards the end I get blueberry. Like having three separate wines over a course of less than 2 hours. Medium body and tannins, with plenty of acidity. Worked very well with red sauce lasagna. Decent with a lamb chop and portobello ravioli. — 4 years ago
Amazing. Slight pepper smell. Very much like a comfort food you can't wait to try. Taste is like velvet. Slow and easy over the tongue and vanishes leaving you in amazement! — 7 years ago
