Lovely nose of spice, confectionary cherries, cotton candy, tar, berry fruit and some tobacco. 50 Neb/50 Barbera. Super juicy and elegant with a flirty, fun way about it. Serious but not too serious. Not too heavy and lovely vibrant and vivid red fruits. Nice little structure here and good texture and depth. A terrific value. Great length. — 3 years ago
Pretty bottle, looks can be deceiving, but Spec’s recommended and it is absolutely delicious. — 4 years ago

Very fruity and sweet, but not headache-inducing. It’s the perfect level of sweetness for me! :) — 4 years ago
1967; 3H Decant.
Nose has dried roses, tar, dried orange peel, dried Bing cherries, wet leather, moist leaves and shaved dark chocolate.
Palate has dehydrated tart cherry, dried orange zest, moist garden soil, sweet cherry notes, medium tannins and light acidity remains.
Evolving and expanding with each sip, complex flavors continue to reveal, not slowing down at all.
A truly exceptional bottle of wine. Made by Beppe Coppa, one of the greatest Lange winemakers. A powerful vintage according to my trusted source on old Italian wine. — 2 years ago
