Nice spice reminiscent of a Pinot would pair well with lamb. — a month ago
Still the Sauv Blanc benchmark. Floral nose, crisp and refreshing on the palate, enriched with some tropical fruit. — 24 days ago
Lovely #chardonnay from #margaretriver it is the #benchmark for the region and Jancis Robinson tasted it blind and preferred it over Chardonnays from all around the world Top. Margaret River Chardonnay is recognizeable for its concentrated ripe fruit, high acidity and balance between the two. — 2 months ago
Not sure why such low ratings. I thought this was refreshing. I prefer red wine and don’t usually drink Pinot Grigio but I loved this. — a month ago
Far too early to crack this open, but I couldn't resist.
It starts a bit like a good Beaujolais from a casual Oz Foillard, but with time loses some vibrancy to unfold complexity. I believe Joshua has found a magnificent vineyard that expresses a wine with many shade and has minerality and freshness quite rare for a red in Australia. I bid on him to become a future benchmark in the local market.
Macedon Ranges are going to become a new Eldorado for pinot...at least I hope...
BTW the 2017 vintage was poured by the glass at the Eleven Madison restaurant in New York, first Oz wine by the glass there. — 2 months ago
Normal service has been resumed.
In my opinion, this represents a benchmark in RRV chards.

Raising a glass to Ruth Bader Ginsburg. What an impact she has had on our society. The world would be a much better place if we had more women in places of influence. — a month ago
What a nose. First Riserva at Miru since 2008! What a nose. Wow. Sick. Holy shit. Ethereal cherries like nothing you’ve ever smelled before. Leather and glorious spice. Roses and tar. It’s so detailed and the clarity is off the charts. Wow. I’m really blown away as this Ghemme is on another level. Moss, Sous bois, minerals. Mulch. So complex and haunting. Volnay meets Ghemme. What a palate. Sick. Sweet cherry fruit. Mid season and some sour cherries. Amazing clarity to the fruit. Sick sweetness. So so elegant. This is the best Ghemme I’ve ever had. What sweet and velvety tannins and such purity. This is amazing. So balanced, so fresh, so energetic and deep. The finish hits every nook and cranny. The finesse is top top notch. Mindblowing wine and it hasn’t even aired out yet. So juicy. So refined for a Ghemme but has a certain rusticity as well but even that is refined. This is a benchmark.
After air this is dizzying. Loads of deep spice and cherries. Minerals. Cherry cough drop. So aromatic. Wow. Leather. Like saddle leather. Palate has loads of sweet fruit and amazing tannins. So juicy. So refined and gentle for a Ghemme. — 2 months ago
