Dark ruby coloration. On the nose, amareno cherry, vanilla, oak, espresso and leather. On the palate, cherry, florals, Espresso, chocolate, full bodied, with a long finish. A nice representation of amarone and the type of wine I could have daily. Also a great bargain. — 9 months ago

Had the 2019 in April of 2024. Really enjoyed this. Dry but red cherry softens the dryness. Earthy with light tannins. Great buy for the price. Plan to get this one again. Had with chicken and mushroom risotto and paired remarkably well. — 24 days ago

The nicest Classico Superiore we’ve had. And with a slight chill along burgers, yum. Has a great nose of muddy black cherries, trees, leafy decay, as it warms, it’s pronounced deep red.
On the palate, bright acidity up front with a tactile slight roughness, pomegranates and cherries, delicious balance.
These bottles don’t disappoint.
