At Sailor. Very funky, farmy, mineral, but on the lighter end of medium. Bramble with mushrooms and volcanic soil. Prune, red fruit, some anise. 02/21/24 — 2 months ago

This wine from the Canary Islands is bright asks fresh with crisp acidity and plenty of green apple, lemon, wet stone and flint. It also has a rich undercurrent of yellow plum, white peach and fennel and a bit of salinity on the finish. Made for seafood, and Very nice with a pesto and goat cheese pizza — 9 months ago

Volcano Essence. Indigenous variety from Canary Islands. Fruity, Peppery and mineral. Bold and complex. Honest and intriguing . Rare and singular... Medium weight with mid to high tannins and balanced acidity. This is a serious wine for serious drinkers. This is a trip into tradition and knowledge. Masterfully crafted in Abona. — 4 years ago

Rosado Ycoden Daute Isore 2022

What to pair with homemade sabich on another sweltering night? Canary rose- savory bordering on bay leaf & blood orange pith. That copper rust color. The concentration missing of, say, a Lopez rose, but for 17$ an outrageous QPR — 9 months ago

Blanco Tenerife Marmajuelo 2018

This is a stunner. Flows through the mouth sumptuously. Hay, dust and lilies on the nose. Tropical fruits, peach, and volcanic minerals on the palate. An all around elegant combination of texture, acid and a touch of fine, fruity sweetness. — 2 years ago
