Vintage Port Blend 1977

Lovely port in a great place and with greater depth and fruit dimension compared to 77 Warre. Some damson, prune and plum, great length. — 3 years ago

Barrel 27 Wine Company

Hand Over Fist Central Coast Syrah Blend

Never seen this Barrell 27 before. Also, it was priced at $28.99 but We got it for $15.99 so it was a steal. Not sure of the blend but it was pretty good. I think the other Barrel 27s are a bit better though. — 9 years ago

Adore the Warre-King! Stone fruit and pumpkin spice and perfection, to be frank. — 3 years ago

Vintage Port 1945

Our. buddy David Page Opened one of his legendary 1945 port’s for us to enjoy at the end a a magnificent dining experience in his home. The one and only Juan Mercado was a guest of honor. That 45 Port has at least 50 years worth of life left in it!!! It was perfection. — 6 years ago

@James Cahill Great Eye James! We always open these old port bottles by heating Port Tongs Red-hot and clasping then around the neck of the bottle for about 45 seconds. You then immediately touch the neck of the bottle with a piece of ice and you’ll hear Angels Sing!!
Snap! The top falls right off with the cork intact in the neck. It doesn’t disintegrate into the bottle. Badass way to open port!

I saw that once before. Well done and adds to the fun. Kinda like sabering Champagne. Thanks for sharing all of the joy and good times you experience with your friends and family while opening epic wines.
