NV Pehu Simonet Face Nord Rosé Grand Cru is a 75% Pinot Noir and 25% Chardonnay blend. Striking pale salmon color. This is Verezenay and Verzy Grand Cru fruit. This is delicious. Stunning acidity, laser focused finished. Beautiful dry champagne. Paired perfectly with Indian.
Because champagne is always a good idea.

Brut Nature Champagne Blend
An underrated producer for sure. Deep gold in the glass. The nose is resplendent with brioche and cherry aromas initially. A bit restrained at first but will blossom with an abundance of apples. There’s just a hint of floral aromatics but it’s very nice.
Pure Pinot Noir from the alliterative villages of Verzenay and Verzy. Composed of a whopping 55% of reserve wines which really do make all the difference in the world. Brut Nature with high acidity but approachable especially after some air and time. Terrific balance and structure and a long lasting effervescence.
The attack is all drama and excitement. Sharp and crisp in the mouth. Voluminous apple notes. Orchard fruits and more pretty red berries for days. An exciting and well made champagne. — 7 months ago
