Napa Cab in its most inviting form. The color on this wine is medium ruby with a pink rim. The aromas are special: ripe black cherry, oak, and a bouquet of roses. The nose follows the pallet with added hints of vanilla; it is rich, silky with well integrated tannings and a hefty finish. Just gotta love Napa Cab! And see prior notes too... — 14 hours ago
Wanted to celebrate today’s Realm Release, but my inventory is just dwindling thanks to Coronalcoholism, so went with next best thing. This is such a great go-to wine. Full-bodied, great mouthfeel. Could drink this all the time. @Benoit Touquette is a sexy Mfer. — 18 days ago
Considered one of the "first growths" of Napa, 98% Cab Sauv, rest Cab Franc. Deep Ruby with big aromas of dark fruit, oak and earthy floral spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, plum and cherry with notes of cedar and espresso. Fine firm tannins, well balanced with lively acidity, long finish ending with fruit, oak and spice, elegant! — 22 days ago
It's time for my #FridayCabernetfix.
This one is gorgeous.
Deep purple in color with a purplish rim.
Nose of blackberries, black plums, black cherries, cedar, spices, vanilla, licorice, eucalyptus, chocolates, tobacco, coke, coffee, leather, black pepper and pencil lead.
Full-bodied, bold and rich, with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and extremely fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, cooked cherries, vanilla, cedar, licorice, mocha, coke, light earth, coffee, chocolates, tobacco, spices and peppercorn.
Long finish with round tannins and tangy cherries.
This is a wonderful Napa Cabernet Sauvignon. Showing a great mouthfeel with great complexity.
Still young and will age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years.
Rich and fruit forward. Nicely balanced, smooth, elegant and spicy. The spices hang on well after the long finish.
Delicious right out of the bottle with firm tannins that ease up, as it opens. I gave it a couple of hours in a decanter.
100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from a Single Vineyard.
I paired it with cheeses and crackers.
14.5% alcohol by volume.

A staining dark burgundy with ruby highlights and a wide brim. Darkness abounds on the nose with blackberries and stewed plums initially. Toasted oak, slight vanilla, and boysenberry. New leather brings another dimension to this wine. You really should spend some time just smelling this. It’s so clean and just pretty.
A Right Bank blend with mostly Merlot from Stags Leap can be a thing of beauty and this certainly is. I mention oak but this is not over oaked. So much restraint is used here. This isn’t huge and ridiculous and flabby. It eschews all that in favor of a studious and clean wine that focuses more on purity of fruit and proper balance. Not over extracted at all, but rather lush and a bit sensuous.
More leather showing on the palate, along with smoked tobacco and blackberries. Pine nuts, a touch of dried grass and dark chocolate. This has years to go but is drinking just fine right now. A gorgeous little thing. — 22 days ago
$23.99 at Costco, but prefer Black Stallion over this. Tastes young, but good. — 4 days ago
