Ripe yet still savoury with plum, black currant + a whiff of cedar wood & green pepper. On the palate this has flow - ripe, juicy, very finely grained tannins, good balance between the fresh acidity and the plums. This is a lovely surprise. And this is ready to drink now, so no need to wait any longer.
It’s hard to beat decent Bordeaux with Steak Frites.
