Sweet wines are normally not my favorite but I wanted to try this and expand my palate and I wasn’t disappointed 🙂 it has a nice flavor and is not bubbling at all. A good wine for a great price point which balances out the table. — 3 months ago
Pop and pour at Luce in San Francisco. A majestic dark ruby red color. On the nose: bursting from the glass are beautiful notes of plum, stewed meat, cedar, some black raspberry, smoke, floral. Taste: smooth, rich, juicy wine with dark fruit, worn leather, meaty, bitter chocolate, and a spiced graphite long finish. YUM! A day before fire up for the Kevin Hart show in SF. Cheers! — 2 years ago
The 2018 Chardonnay Katherine's Vineyard is a gentle, open-knit wine. Soft contours and the tropical accents typical of Santa Maria give the 2018 a very pretty sense of immediacy. Airy and gracious, with terrific precision, the Katherine's Chardonnay is classy through and through. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, August 2020)

The 2021 Pinot Noir Julia's Vineyard is laced with crushed red berry fruit. Spice, tobacco and mint are some of the notes that grace this expressive, nuanced Pinot. The 2021 was done with fully destemmed fruit, but there is a sense of savoriness here that is quite attractive. $25.00 (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, November 2023) — 5 months ago
