It tastes slightly nutty, very digestible and soft in the finish! A direct hit! — 2 days ago
Very concentrated, old vine (50+) dolcetto seeped in ripe black berries and cherries. Layered earth components of ash and tar are backed up by a good dose of tannin. — 3 days ago
The 2018 Barbaresco Ronchi is another gorgeous wine in this lineup from Rocca. As always, the Ronchi is a Barbaresco of breadth and power. In 2018, those qualities are expressed in a decidedly understated manner. Wild cherry, plum, sage, tobacco and menthol are all kicked up in this super-expressive Barbaresco. Hints of orange peel, spice, star anise and sweet pipe tobacco grace the layered, exquisite finish. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, February 2022)

The 2021 Rosato is irresistible and decidedly savory in the glass, with wild herbal tones and wet stone giving way to crushed apricots and lime zest. This envelopes the palate in soft textural fruits, while mixing saline-minerals with brilliant acidity, as gingery spices mount toward the close. It tapers off more salty than sweet, yet nicely refreshing, while leaving wild strawberry tones to linger. The word ‘yum’ does not do this justice. (Eric Guido, Vinous, May 2022) — 3 months ago

Lots of stone fruit. Peaches apricots and green gage plums. Balanced and concentrated, truly silky textured. — 5 days ago
