So balanced. So pleasurable and drinkable. You will drink the whole bottle without even blinking (or thinking) Deep ruby color, pronounced aromas of blue and black fruit (blueberries, grapes, black cherries and cassis) herbal (mint, sage) and balsamic (eucalyptus) hints of oak (coffee and dark cocoa). Medium(+) body, medium acidity, medium ripe tannins and medium(+) finish. #carmenère #carmenere #chile #chileanwine — 8 days ago
Really beautiful aged wine from Chili! — 12 hours ago
Solid, well balanced. Just lightly on the dry side. Tastes like an Italian. — 14 days ago
Must be in my cellar for like 12+ years.... Tried several times over the years, but only now it gets to a nice balanced point in maturity... At start it was mainly a very jammy fruitbomb. And that grew into a much more balanced Cab Sauvig, Carmenere, Syrah tasting wine. All sharp edges have gone, smooth and silky tanine. Just enough acids to keep it interesting, almost no sweets. Nice full herbs and spice flavours: cinamon, bay, licquorish over cheyy tones...
So the recommendation was to drink before 2010, and I'm happy I ignored that.

Full bodied, dark berry, earthy - really nice wine. — 12 days ago
Smoky, dark fruit with hints of tobacco. More like a Bordeaux than a South American wine. Excellent wine. Can age longer — 14 days ago
Both Adrian and I liked it. Flavorful, yet nice and dry. Bought at sendiks. — 12 days ago
