Slightly hazy (unfined and unfiltered) straw gold. Inviting nose and medium bodied palate of underripe quince, citrus rind, and balsam with a bit of extra "texture" (light tannin?) from the process. Medium acidity shows from entry to lengthy, lemony finish. Russell Bevan does it again. A luscious California SB treated like it's baby boy, CS, yields a white wine that's ready for fuller fare like roasted pork or fowl, swordfish or shark, or a melange of firm roots and greens. Not your mother's SB. Drink now through 2025. — 8 days ago
This presents a steep slope in both directions in terms of character and presence. Bright, mineral-driven and just the right amount of acidity and sweetness establishes this as a benchmark in the category. — a day ago
Light golden in color with a yellow tint.
Strong nose of gooseberry, limes, grapefruits, light earth, green apples, spices, grass and light sea salt.
Medium bodied with medium plus acidity. Crisp and refreshing.
Dry on the palate with limes, grapefruits, citrus, green apples, bitter herbs, light vegetables, light tropical fruits, spices, earth and white pepper.
Long finish with light almonds and spices.
This is a delicious Sauvignon Blanc based blend from Napa Valley.
Easy drinking and good by itself or with food. Has a light creamy feel, which is very enjoyable.
Nicely balanced and tangy, with a soft mouthfeel.
Showing nice complexity, which you don't usually see at this young age. I can see it getting even better in the next 3 years.
I had it all by itself by the pool.

This is a very tasty Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire Valley.
Lighter on the nose and dry on the palate, with medium plus acidity.
Showing limes, citrus, green apples, grapefruits, light earth and white pepper.
Showing nice complexity with a soft mouthfeel. Juicy and entertaining.
Better on the palate and simpler the nose.
Nicely balanced, crisp and refreshing, and good by itself or with food. A good party wine too.
I paired it with fresh oysters.

Pop and pour. A breathtaking light straw color. On the nose: green apple, pear, lime, touch of banana. Taste: soft, juicy wine with lemon, grass, honeydew melon, chalky minerals, and a metallic grapefruit. Nothing special, may need a little more time. Cheers! — a day ago
Pale yellow with aromas of ripe white stone and citrus fruits with dried floral grassy notes, aged on lees for 5 months. On the palate flavors of rich apple and lemon with crisp acidity and pronounced mineral notes. Medium+ finish, ending with creamy citrus, herb and flinty mineral character. Good now and will improve over next several years! — 6 days ago
Superb nose with green apple, wax, pear, a tiny touch of honey and a tiny bit of reduction at first, that went away after a short while in the glass. The palate is very precise with a laser beam acid drive, some matter and a nice mouthfeel, apple and pear notes, and a long, clean and fresh finish with the same fruit notes. I had it along a nice scampi ravioles dish in fish espuma and it was a perfect pairing. — 5 days ago

Nose has under-ripe peach, lemon zest, cold chalk and wet beach sand.
Palate has pineapple core, dried lemon, sea spray and dehydrated peach.
Nice balanced acidity, no real herbal notes to speak of, a different expression than the traditional style. This wine should have a long life ahead, drink 2024-31.
The inaugural, single vineyard Sauvignon Blanc for Saracina from the Lolonis Vineyard; possibly some of the oldest SB vines in the US, planted in 1942.
