@delectable, this is the Pineau D’ Aunis, not in your database. Really fun wine. Not red wine, not rose wine, but somewhere in between/closer to rose. Tons of spice, pepper, herbs, bell pepper, subtle cherry/raspberry and medium acid. Thanks for introducing me to this varietal Doug! I’m hoping more wineries will continue to grow/plant more of it. — a year ago

I love everything that Julian Pineau does. This wine mostly of pineau d anise I believe is no exception. Less peppery more acid driven and mineral driven then others. I wish I had a case as is the case with all his wines. — 2 years ago

I love this wine. It reminds me of Pineau d' Aunis! Low tannins, light bodied, mild concentration of cherry and strawberries, cola, earth, minerals, and mild vanilla. A very different representation of PN very enjoyable. Another rating mentioned petroleum, I am picking up on that! Saw a 92 rating somewhere. 🤷♀️ — 3 months ago
