Review:
Martini and Rossi Moscato d' Asti
From the region of Piedmont, Italy,
this wine is made of Moscato Bianco grapes handpicked.
When I tasted it the first thing I noticed was the aroma. It has a very floral kind of smell, and also has hints of banana, and maybe lemon. The body of the wine has a water-like consistency, and you can feel this when you sip it. It has a balanced kind of taste. Not too sweet and not too acidic. Very pleasant overall. I certainly recommend it. — 7 years ago
Located in the village of Castiglione Tinella in the heart of the Piedmont Region called the Langhe, four generations the Saracco family has been Moscato d' Asti. Clear, light, almost white color, with small bubbles, Frizzante-style. Pronounced nose, floral and ripe white peaches, with notes of honeysuckle. Sweet, the palate follows the nose with the addition of orange citrus flavors with low acidity and nice medium length finish. Consistent. — 5 months ago
A very nice Muscato d’ Asti. Strong citrus aroma with Apricot in the palette. Very smooth with a sweet finish. — 4 years ago
Hints of peach and apricot. Good amount of effervescence. Will go flat in the matter of a few days if you don’t finish the bottle. Very fresh and lightly sweet moscato d asti. — 5 years ago
This is our all time favorite Muscato d Asti and always ensure that I have a few bottles in my cellar. — 3 years ago
This is really good moscato d' asti. The trick is sweet but not too sweet, fizz but not too much fizz, and a little nuance on the nose - chalk, vanilla, parchment paper. Hits all three. With Sayer on the porch. — 3 years ago
