I had the previous bottle 37 weeks ago and this was, once again, outstanding. Sous Bois is still there along with red fruited (cherry), red florals (roses) and confectionery. Evidence of whole bunch in the ferment. My daughter, Georgie adored it and said it was one of the best if not THE Best wine she has had in her Australian visit for the past 5 weeks. She has now returned to Copenhagen. Only 1705 bottles made. On Saturday my wife and I are having lunch at Ten Minutes by Tractor and need to restock their excellent wines. β 4 months ago
π·ββ just lovely. Bought from the cellar door β 4 years ago
Light ruby colour with great purity on the palate with layers of berry flavours plus long moorish finish
Great expression of Mornington Pinot Noir β 13 days ago
Elegant and delicate easy drinking pinot. Great for all occasions. β 3 months ago
Magnificent. Has gained weight with age while retaining the gorgeous fruit and brambly spice. Nat White is a genius. β 8 months ago
Pale to Mid Crimson in colour. Red cherry and a tarry note . 80% whole bunch in the ferment. On the palate red and black cherry (flesh and skins). A fuller style - medium weight + palate. Mornington Peninsula is very good for Pinot Noir and this was the first Pinot to win the prestigious Jimmy Watson Trophy for Best One Year old Dry Red at the Royal Melbourne Wine Show. Delectable this is the Single Block Pinot Noir not the Syrah. β 4 years ago
Iβm a fussy one with Pinot. It should not come from Western Australia IMO. Clones or climate, prob both. This from the Mornington Peninsula is everything I want. Lower alcohol, rose petals, violets, no confection, some spices. It went really well with a Chicken Biryani. Iβve always loved their Chardonnay and now Iβm late to their Pinot Show but loving this immensely. 2019.
(And then I remember that Batista Estate Angelina Pinot is a doll. From WA) π©· β a month ago
Delicious and smooth - very easy to drink on day 1 and 2 β 8 months ago
Back in the day I bought a dozen of these and donβt record everyone. See previous note 271 weeks ago. Emphasising again that the Mornington Peninsula is great for Pinot Noir. Mid to light Ruby in colour with pale slightly tawny edges. Rich red fruits on the palate with aromas of Sous Bois/compost heap. A very good Mornington Pinot with Medium plus intensity belying its pale colour. Will have the remaining 3 bottles over the next few years. β 9 months ago

Very brief note. I love Mornington Peninsula Chardonnay and Pinot Noir - particularly this cheapie from credentialed producer, Kooyong. Restrained stone fruit aromas with well balanced oak. Only $24AUD wonderful QPR. Drink the last one later this year or early next year. β 21 days ago
