Paired well with roasted turkey, best pairing so far. — 2 months ago
Held on to this for a few years and enjoyed yesterday with a couple unique meals. First off, nose was modest dark berries with dark cherry as well, mushroom, some green pepper, and slight must/earth tone. Flavors were smoothed together and the finish was medium. Now to the food - has home made “sloppy joe” that helped accent some of the vegetable qualities and slight cherry. Then had some with an meat, mushroom and pepper omelet - paired even better with that. — 5 months ago

Very crisp, apples in the nose, not oaky, not buttery. Does not taste like a California Chardonnay. Delicious and light — 4 years ago
Great Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, especially after the hour long bottle aeration. The hue is a burnt red. Lots of ripe raspberry on the nose followed by leathery scents. On the pallet it is smooth with “automatic” transitions: red fruit welcoming, outburst of earthiness, the right pinch of acidity, composed tannings and a savory finish. Might be the second glass of the night taking but this is tasting very good. — 5 months ago
Clean and lively Chard. Hints of lemon, honey, and very slight butter. — 3 years ago
This review is for the 2007 Marimar Estate Dona Margarita Vineyard Mas Cavalls Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir. Medium to dark garnet in color. Nice nose of dark cherry, spice, and earth.
Good flavors of black cherry, spice, and forest floor. Complex, well integrated flavors; very steady and persistent across the pallet, without being overpowering. Good body and smooth integrated tannins. Paired well with Sockeye Salmon with Cherry Vidalia Chipotle marmalade and sautéed Dinosaur Kale with Crispy Bacon. Drank well for three days. This wine is in its prime.
