Popped and poured; enjoyed over a couple of hours. No formal notes but I can assure all that this is freaking delizioso. Loads of sexy red fruits: fresh bramble fruit, Montmorency cherry, pomegranate, cranberries along with some orange peel...and a tar pit…surrounded by a wall of roses. The tannins are so firm (high) right now. Acid is medium+. The finish is impossibly long, drying and savory. This is incredible and the only reason I opened one now is because I wanted to try while young since I have multiples. The 2019 vintage is the real deal. Best after 2029 and should be a stunner through 2069. — 8 months ago
Really great multi layered white — 2 months ago
Popped and poured; no formal notes. The 2019 Luigi Baudana “Serralunga d’Alba” shows bright red and dark fruits, roses, tar and dried earth. Tannins are high and acid is at least medium+ but one can tell that the typical elegance of Baudana is present. A baby and while it’s very good right now, patience will be rewarded. Should drink well past 2040.

Should have opened it early and decanted - or better yet, hid it under a floorboard for a good ten plus years. Tightly wound tannins which come out swinging. Yet, with hints of the promised land to come in its youthful (?) bluster. — 4 months ago
Primarily Nebbiolo with small amounts of Barbera (10%) and Dolcetto (5%) blended in. Medium pink color. Aromas of white flowers, rose petals and raspberry. The bold palate notes red berries, pomegranate and cherry with a hint of saline on the finish. Nicely balanced and an easy drink. Very food friendly. Bright, crisp and fresh. Another great way to enjoy the Nebbiolo grape. — 7 months ago
