Aromas and flavors of orange and apricot jam with a additional hints of honey, grapefruit, nuts, raisins and lemon zest. A touch of salinity makes this dessert wine seem less sweet. Malvasia Bianco. Pre-phylloxera vineyards in old crater in Lipari. Pumice, ash and sand soil. Great example of a volcanic wine and minerality. Complex yet quaffable, aromatic herbs, slight honey and smoky notes. Very intriguing wine! — 4 years ago
