Love half bottles of good Blanc Champagne at Costco for $18. Sure makes it feel like Christmas come early.
I’m dreaming of a wine Christmas. What’s on your list?
Really nice cuvée from Laurent-Perrier and even better price point.
Bruised apple & Bosc pear, pineapple juice, nougat with nuts, ginger ale, vanillin, white spice, sea spray, soft volcanics, easy, powdery chalkiness, bread dough to baguette, withering lilies and spring flowers. Lively acidity and well balanced, rich, elegant finish that persists minutes landing on minerals & spice.
Happy Holiday Season! 🎄🎅❄️⛄️🎁 🌟 — 6 days ago
— 10 days ago
Delicious and easy drinking. Really liked it with a slight chill on it. — 8 days ago
Nice bright reddish tawny, translucent. Exotic nose from the get go. Notes of strawberry and raspberry, rhubarb, Asian spice, some wood and some dark earth. Great texture and mouth feel. Builds with a few hours of air. In a great place but still young with more upside and can likely get more complex. — 5 days ago
Torres family has been related to wine since the 17th century. Aged in oak for 18 months (70% new). Dark Ruby with aromas of black and blue fruits and complex spice. On the palate this Spanish Cab shows blackberry, currant and ripe cherry flavors with eucalyptus, black pepper and herb spice, concentrated and complex with well integrated and structured tight yet smooth tannins. Long finish ending with vanilla, oak and earthy notes. Can enjoy not but will benefit from aging. — 14 days ago
Beautiful lieu dit from Beaune. Definitely needs a bit of time - after 2 hours in the decanter, the aromas are beautiful and leap from the glass. Would prefer to wait for a couple years, tannins are a bit chewy - but still very nice. Excellent pairing with turkey on thanksgiving number 2. — 6 days ago
A remarkable night of conviviality on a chilly W. Village night, celebrating dear friends’ birthdays. Special shout out to the crew at Babs for making EVERYTHING just right. This Blaufrankish perfect Transition wine from the crudos & incredible fish dishes to main courses. The wine is alive with fine berry fruits & pomegranate & of course low on tannin. — 20 days ago
