Drank 3/26/23
On the nose honeycomb, apple pie, and a hint of pineapple. Flavors of honey drizzled pound cake, and roasted pineapple, and creme Brule. Finish is medium. I don't think this will gain much as it ages, but should hang on for several years.

Solid. Not as bold as the last vintage I had but I like it. — 2 years ago
Really a wonderful old Riesling. Last had 2 years ago and I think this is our last bottle. The color in the glass is amazing. The palate matches - so deep and rich but still with balance. Was probably overall better 2 years ago as more of the acid was still there but this is still excellent. — 3 months ago
It is time for my #FridayCabernetfix. Here is a delicious one.
Deep purple in color with a short purple rim.
Strong nose of black currants, plums, cooked cherries, violets, licorice, spices, chocolates, tobacco and herbs.
Full bodied and elegant with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and very fruity on the palate with blackberry pie, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, cedar, herbs, vanilla, spices, chocolates and black pepper.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
This 6 year old Napa Cabernet is still young, but already very enjoyable, even by itself. Rich and extracted. Fruit forward, but calm.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after 2 hours of airtime.
Very flowery once it opens up. I liked the nose better than the palate. A very enjoyable wine.
This Single Vineyard will continue to age nicely in the next 7 to 10 years.
100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were aged in French oak barrels (40% new) for 26 months. A tiny production of only 5 barrels.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

Very distinct smell and a taste that doesn't resemble that smell, but taste very good. I enjoyed this very much, and it surprised me in a positive way — 8 months ago
Outstanding. Well into day 7 for the last glass. Structure intact. Wish I had more of this…. — 10 months ago

1961- I mean 1961 - the Somm delivered and @David L and I were blown away - cork was in excellent shape - tannins were strict but silky - - nose on par - pine peach licorice- the color was brand new - crazy - I mean all you ever want in every way - it could go another 20 years - I was taken back - extraordinary- a Bordeaux grand cru that is actually grand — 3 years ago

6 person cab tasting this was a lot of people’s first place or tied for first I absolutely love this wine matches my pallet too big berrys on the start that turns into some earthy and green bell pepper type notes on the mid and back end a absolute steal for its price — a month ago
